Mr. K. David Boyer, Jr. joins IS3’s Advisory Board.  Mr. Boyer is the CEO for GlobalWatch Technologies, Inc., a leading information security consulting and software engineering firm. 

Mr. Boyer recently served as the Senior Advisor and Director of Global Development Alliance for US Agency for International Development from 2008 to 2009.  He successfully led the agency’s initiative to vastly increase development resources through public-private partnerships. At USAID, he demonstrated his ability to reach out to businesses, to convince CEOs that public-private partnerships were sound investments, and to close deals with committed agreements.  He gained support from foundations, business partners, universities, and USAID to actualize development opportunities. He negotiated with corporations and other alliance partners, such as PEPFAR and MCC, to advance national priorities. He created opportunities for small and medium businesses to participate in economic development.  “We are extremely fortunate to have such a great business mind and corpoate executive working with IS3.  We are looking forward to a long fruitful relationship….” said IS3 Chairman and CEO, Dr. Ben Magee.

IS3 recently renewed it’s Master Subcontract Agreement (MSA) with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).  Under the terms of the MSA, IS3 will provide voice and data infrastructure support to CSC locations nationwide.  IS3 has supported CSC in this capacity since 2004.

The Office of Contracts and Grants of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) awarded Information Systems Security Solutions (IS3), Inc. a twelve month contract for the turnkey management of NAS wiring and cabling.
