Mr. Boyer recently served as the Senior Advisor and Director of Global Development Alliance for US Agency for International Development from 2008 to 2009.  He successfully led the agency’s initiative to vastly increase development resources through public-private partnerships. At USAID, he demonstrated his ability to reach out to businesses, to convince CEOs that public-private partnerships were sound investments, and to close deals with committed agreements.  He gained support from foundations, business partners, universities, and USAID to actualize development opportunities. He negotiated with corporations and other alliance partners, such as PEPFAR and MCC, to advance national priorities.
